This grant funds playground musical instruments that will be used as a part of the
music curriculum at Westorchard along with the students on the playground at recess.
This grant will provide K-4 students with an opportunity to explore their musical talents
in a natural and inspiring setting and promote independent learning and social
interaction during free play. The administrators and staff at Westorchard will assess the
impact of the musical playground and share their findings throughout the district.
