This grant funds the purchase of performing arts resources that will enrich the quality
of theater education for all students involved in the theater program and classes at
Horace Greeley. First, the grant provides for the creation of a Performing Arts Library
that will comprise digital resources and books including classic and contemporary plays
along with technical theater and methodology books. Second, this grant will allow theater department to purchase recording supplies for class work and college auditions. This equipment will also be used to build and grow a digital archival system of instructional videos for students in the program. Finally, this grant supports the purchase of basic scenic stock pieces to support performance work.
