Horace Greeley Biotechnology Equipment

This grant funded the purchase of biotechnology equipment for the Science Department at Horace Greeley High School. This equipment will allow students to perform procedures and get hands-on experience in laboratory techniques that are part of the curriculum in Living Environment, AP Biology, and AP Environmental Science. Science research students will also be able to design and execute their own experiments. The Biotechnology equipment that will be funded in this grant can be used in a wide range of courses and can be utilized in new biotechnology-based electives that can be developed.
