This InstaGrant focuses on the social and emotional aspects of learning in middle school children. The Go Be Kind Journal brings to life the lessons being taught with the RULER program. By having children experience the different adventures in the journal it is believed they will come to know themselves better, learn to take risks in and out of school, learn how to talk to peers, teachers and adults, and most importantly, learn the power of being kind. The year will culminate with a visit from the author who will share his own adventures, further solidifying this experience.
