This InstaGrant provides funding for 42 pairs of snowshoes to create a snowshoeing unit for the 4th grade physical education classes to be used this winter and into the future. The physical education department has emphasized the importance of spending time outdoors. In addition to the many health and fitness benefits of snowshoeing, this unit would allow students to continue to get outside during the winter months.
